In 2025, Greater Together partnered with Joliet Fire Department Station 10 to donate Adirondack chairs and side tables, creating a more comfortable outdoor space where firefighters can rest, recharge, and connect between emergency calls.

Through a connection at The Great Escape's Joliet store, Greater Together partnered with Joliet Fire Department Station 10 to improve the firefighters' outdoor gathering area. The existing seating had served its purpose for years but was worn and no longer provided the comfort the crew deserved during long shifts.
In 2025, Greater Together donated a collection of Adirondack chairs and matching side tables, replacing the aging furniture with durable, comfortable seating designed to accommodate firefighters of all sizes. The updated space provides a welcoming place for the crew to unwind, connect, and take a well-earned break while remaining ready to respond when their community needs them.
The project also reflects Greater Together's commitment to giving back to the communities that have supported The Great Escape for more than fifteen years. As one of the company's highest-performing locations, the Joliet store has grown alongside the community it serves, making this partnership a meaningful way to thank both the firefighters and the residents who have helped the business thrive.
