Partnership Story
Families staying at Ronald McDonald House often spend weeks or months supporting a child receiving specialized medical care. At the Ronald McDonald House serving UChicago Medicine Comer Children's Hospital, Greater Together donated handcrafted wooden rocking chairs and outdoor dining furniture to enhance multiple gathering areas throughout the property.
The rocking chairs provide peaceful places for parents and caregivers to step outside, reflect, and recharge, while the dining sets encourage families to share meals and spend meaningful time together outdoors. These additions help extend the House's mission by creating welcoming spaces that promote comfort, connection, and moments of respite during difficult circumstances.
