In 2021, Greater Together partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities in Maywood to furnish three outdoor gathering spaces throughout the property. By creating comfortable places to relax, dine, and reconnect, the project expanded opportunities for families to enjoy fresh air and spend meaningful time together during extended hospital stays.

Partnership Story
Rather than focusing on a single patio, the Maywood project enhanced three unique outdoor environments designed to serve families in different ways. An upper-level balcony became a peaceful retreat for parents who wanted fresh air close to their rooms. The main patio was furnished with comfortable lounge seating, outdoor dining furniture, and grilling areas for larger family gatherings. A landscaped Secret Garden was completed with multiple dining sets, offering a quiet place for reflection, conversation, and shared meals.
Together, these spaces extend Ronald McDonald House Charities' mission by giving families more opportunities to step outside, recharge, and create moments of normalcy while supporting a loved one receiving medical care.
